If you have already installed an eligible Sinopé smart energy control device in your home, we need your help. We are looking for customers to join the Peak Saver Program.

How the program works
We aim to reduce energy consumption during peak periods in cold winter evenings and hot summer days. We will remotely adjust your Sinopé devices during these peaks, which will not last more than four hours. You can opt-out at any time during the event. By participating, you retain complete control of your devices and could receive up to $100 at the end of each season.
Who can qualify?
To be eligible for the Peak Saver Program, customers must:
- Be the BC Hydro account holder and the owner of the residence. Tenants can participate with the owner's consent.
- Live in a single-family home or a townhouse.
- Have an electric water heater and/or baseboard heaters.
- Have an eligible Sinopé device connected to the Internet via your own Internet service.
How to sign up?
The Neviweb app makes registering your devices for the Peak Saver Program easy and helps reduce electricity consumption during peak times.
Log in to your Neviweb account and click on the Eco Sinopé tile in the Neviweb dashboard.
Select Peak Saver, fill in the required information, and review and accept the program terms.
Select your profile and make customizations if needed.
What to expect during a peak event
- You don't have to do anything except register via the Neviweb app and select a profile. We will remotely adjust your Sinopé devices by turning off the load controller during peak periods or lowering the temperature setpoint according to the selected profile.
- An event will not last more than four consecutive hours.
- You can opt out of an event at any time by pressing any button on your devices.
- You will always have full control over your devices.
A peak event can occur at any time, depending on weather conditions and the state of the grid.
