Immediately detected, immediately closed!
As soon as a water leak is detected, the signal is sent to the Sedna valve to trigger automatic closure of the water inlet. An alert is sent by e-mail and push notification, indicating the location of the leak and confirming that everything is under control.
They are designed to monitor even the most hard-to-reach locations at risk.
The various detector models slip discreetly under or near appliances likely to leak water. They all have their place, from the cellar to the attic, and alert you to the slightest amount of water or low battery level.

Sedna - Smart Water Valve
Features and technical specifications
Operation in 3 easy steps
1. Water leak detection
The water leak detector emits an audible alarm and sends a closure signal to the Sedna valve.
2. Water inlet closure
As soon as it receives the signal from one of the water leak detectors, the valve closes the water inlet automatically.
3. Sending alerts messages
As soon as the leak is detected, you will receive an email or push notification notifying you about the source of the leak and the closure of the water inlet*.
*Requires a permanent Internet connection and the Neviweb app available on the App Store and Google Play.
Up to 20 water leak detectors can be controlled with a single Sinopé smart water valve (VA4220WF / VA4221WF).
It's also possible to operate the valve without an Internet connection. However, you won't receive any notification when a water leak is detected.
Installation
- The installation of the valve should be performed by a certified professional in accordance with local and national building codes.
- Indoor installation only.
- Horizontal or vertical installation.

FAQs
How does the valve work?
The valve receives water leak alerts from the detectors and reacts within seconds to shut off the water supply of your home. You'll know that everything is under control.
What are the differences between Wi-Fi and Zigbee valves?
The Wi-Fi valve (VA4220WF / VA4221WF) is considered the main valve. In the event of a power failure, the valve will continue to watch over your property for up to 48 hours if you install an uninterruptible power supply and use AAA lithium batteries.
The Zigbee valve (VA4220ZB / VA4221ZB) can act as a secondary valve to your main valve VA4220WF / VA4221WF, allowing you to shut off a second water inlet in case of a leak detection.
Once paired, the two valves operate in perfect synchronization: they will always share the same state (OPEN / CLOSED), regardless of whether the command comes from the main or secondary valve.
Paired with the GT130 gateway or another compatible Zigbee gateway
- Enables remote control of the valve (open and close) through your Zigbee-compatible gateway.
- Allows for automatic water shut-off when your smart home ecosystem reports a leak.
The leak detector communicates with the gateway, which applies the configured rules or automations and then sends a signal to the valve to trigger its closure.
Can I connect other smart devices to the valve?
Up to 20 sensors and other connected accessories can be added to the Sedna valve for the most powerful and complete water protection system. You can, for example, connect a secondary valve if you have two water inlets, or smart switches and dimmers to control the opening and closing of the water inlet with a double-click.
Note, however, that you won't be able to control these devices using automations in Sinopé's Neviweb app. Instead, they will have valve-specific programming.
Which valve should I choose if I want to install a flow sensor?
We recommend the NPT valve if you wish to install a flow sensor. The reason is simple: the flow sensor is not available in the PEX version. If your water inlet is PEX and you've installed the PEX valve, you'll need to install adapters to add the flow sensor.
